Optional Modules

Advanced Purchasing
If you need purchasing capabilities uniquely suited to a manufacturing firm, consider licensing the optional Advanced Purchasing module. With just a few clicks, you'll be able to analyze your material shortages and automatically create all purchase orders needed to replenish your inventory.

Advanced Production
Job shops and manufacturers who create variants of standard assemblies (or custom orders for special "one-off" items) will discover that the Advanced Production module provides critical information needed to track production activities. With Advanced Production, you'll be able to predict the cost of every job and track your performance as your manufacturing orders move through the shop.

Materials Requirements Planning
If you need to plan your production and purchasing activities weeks, months, or even years in advance, you'll want to license the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) module. With just a few mouse clicks, you can create a detailed Master Production Schedule which analyzes your current inventory in the context of open purchase orders, work orders, manufacturing orders, and (optionally) sales orders. Spot impending shortages while there is still time to respond. Click again to create all the required purchase orders and production orders. MRP has never been easier.

Bin Tracking
If your business requires that you keep your raw materials, sub-assemblies, or finished goods inventory in specific containers (bins, bales, bolts, vats, etc.) the optional Bin Tracking module allows you to maintain a unique inventory sub-location for every item or assembly.

Shop Floor Control
This optional product adds work center and tool tracking capabilities to the system. The Bill of material routings document the operations needed to process each assembled item, tracks production step-by-step, and allows for more accurate costing of actual production costs. In addition, it passes accurate cost of goods sold data directly to Peachtree Quantum.

Serial/Lot Tracking
This optional module tracks serial and/or lot numbers for raw materials from receiving through the entire production process to finished good inventory.

Labor Tracking
This module can be deployed "outside" of the Peachtree Quantum Manufacturing Edition software, to record actual labor hours/minutes/seconds logged by employees against specific jobs and manufacturing orders, to generate very precise labor costs.

Bar Coding
With the appropriate scanner hardware, this module provides integration of scanned data into physical inventory and stock transfer functions within the Quantum Manufacturing Edition.
